Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process new business leads.
- React quickly to new opportunities and market changes.
- Qualify, develop, and maintain sales opportunities through company and product knowledge, researching consumer needs, and identifying how our solutions can meet them.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Account Management team to initiate and drive Business Development campaigns, generate leads, and grow relationships with industry leaders from the public and private energy sectors.
- Represent Aurora with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
- Pitch our offerings and make proposals to prospective customers.
- Negotiate and contract multi-service offerings.
- Respond to RFP’s.
- Schedule onboarding workshops and ensure a smooth handover to the Account Management team.
- Log and track campaigns, account plans, and opportunities on Salesforce CRM.
- Be the voice of our clients, gather feedback, and collaborate with Research teams to consistently improve our product strategy and service offerings.
What we are looking for
- More than 3 years of experience in technical or subscription sales.
- Strong commercial mindset, with creativity and intuition to identify opportunities that drive impact and commercial success.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and navigate complex negotiations effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a high level of persistence and attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to contribute wherever needed, including improving internal systems and processes.
- Motivated by achieving commercial targets both individually and as part of a team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven record of strong performance in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
- Passion and curiosity about the energy transition and its impact on the industry.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus
- Sales, business development and client relationship experience in energy-related subscription sales.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system.
- Previous professional exposure to energy economics, power markets or the power networks is an advantage but not essential.
