Job Description
Develop new business customers from connection
Follow up potential enquiry and prepare costing and quotation
Generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships
Promoting logistics solutions (air, sea, and land freight), preparing quotations, and working closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and approach potential customers in need of freight forwarding and logistics services.
Conduct sales visits and presentations to showcase service offerings.
Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the customer base and increase revenue.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Understand customer needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
Follow up on shipments and ensure high service satisfaction.
Quotation & Negotiation
Prepare and present quotations based on customer requirements.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels within company guidelines.
Market Intelligence
Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Provide regular feedback to management to improve service offerings.
Reporting
Maintain accurate sales records, activity reports, and customer data in systems.
Report on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasting.
