Job Summary
- The BD Director is responsible for developing
and executing sales/marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market
share for the Long-Term Care hospital. This role involves building strong
relationships with key stakeholders, including MOH, healthcare professionals,
government agencies, insurance providers, and community organizations. The BD
Manager will lead a sales team, develop sales targets, and monitor performance
metrics to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate
with senior management to set sales targets.
- Implement sales/marketing
strategies and align it with the hospital's goals and objectives.
- Partner with
main stakeholders to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer
relationships as well as expand customer base through regular engagement and
feedback mechanisms.
- Identify emerging markets through market
research to understand new potential markets.
- Monitor market shifts and Changing trends,
economic indicators, and competitors’ strategies & services to adapt our
sales strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the
marketing strategies/ plans including usage of ATL “above the line” such as
radio, BTL “below the line” such as telemarketing, TTL “through the line” and
different social media tools such as YouTube, Instagram, recommend new business
initiatives to push for market share growth.
- Develop market
research initiatives to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in
the long-term care sector as well as the right branding for the hospital.
- Establishes
sales targets, forecasts, and develops annual sales quotas projecting
expected sales volume, case mix, revenue, and profit for existing and new
services.
- Identify and
pursue new business opportunities to expand the hospital's client base.
- Develop and
implement strategies to retain existing clients and enhance customer
satisfaction.
- Negotiate
terms and conditions of service contracts with insurance providers.
- Track
sales metrics, including revenue, conversion rates, and customer
acquisition costs through regular reporting.
- Conduct
regular performance reviews for the sales team quarterly on KPIs and
provide feedback to sales team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare
monthly reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive
analysis for senior management.
- Ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to
sales activities.
- Develop
and manage digital advertising campaigns on social media and search
engines.
- Maintain
brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and
communications channels.

Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s
degree in business administration or related field.
- Experience and
Skills:
- 5
- 7 Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the healthcare industry,
preferably in long-term care or hospital settings.
- Strong
understanding of the healthcare landscape in Saudi Arabia, including
regulations, reimbursement systems, and market dynamics.
- Ability
to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated
track record of achieving sales
targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency
in sales software and CRM systems.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- 5-7 years proven sales leadership experience in healthcare, preferably long-term care or hospital settings
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape in Saudi Arabia including regulations, reimbursement systems, and market dynamics
