Overview
ECS is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director to lead growth initiatives within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) market. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep DHS domain expertise, strong customer relationships, and a proven track record of driving federal business growth. You’ll be instrumental in shaping ECS’s DHS strategy, identifying new opportunities, and supporting capture efforts that align with our mission to deliver innovative, secure, and mission-critical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for DHS components (CBP, ICE, TSA,HQ).
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across IT, cybersecurity, data analytics, and mission support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DHS stakeholders, industry partners, and teaming collaborators.
- Lead capture efforts, including win strategies, teaming, solution development, and proposal support.
- Collaborate with ECS technical, delivery and capture teams to shape solutions that meet DHS mission needs.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
- Represent ECS at DHS industry events, conferences, and forums.
