The Role

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this senior-level role, you will play a key part in identifying business opportunities, managing innovation initiatives, and leading the preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects. Your strategic insight and ability to work independently will directly support the company’s growth and the success of our clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Identify and evaluate new business development prospects in alignment with company strategy. 
  • Propose innovative ideas and solutions tailored to various purposes, including EU funding and sales. 
  • Lead the preparation and management of EU-funded projects, from proposal to implementation. 
  • Maintain a structured overview of EU (centralized and decentralized) and national funding programs, including internal and client-focused matchmaking. 
  • Screen and evaluate relevant EU funding opportunities on an ongoing basis. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and execution. 
  • Independently propose strategic initiatives and process improvements. 

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, EU project management, and funding acquisition. 
  • Strong knowledge of EU funds, particularly experience with centralized EU programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, Digital Europe) is a strong advantage. 
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders. 
  • Fluent in English.
