Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Namibian Citizen.
- Grade 12.
- Relevant Insurance qualification (will be an added advantage).
- Relevant Tertiary qualification.
- At least 3 years short term insurance underwriting experience (Personal or Commercial)
- Computer Literacy: OMSIC systems (Salesforce, TIA) will be an advantage.
- Microsoft Programs: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Must have own transport for the execution duties in Windhoek.

Job Description:
- Develop and maintain optimum relationship with brokers.
- Continuous development to ensure effective service delivery to all intermediaries and clients.
- Develop New Business opportunities within the commercial and corporate lines.
- Provide Commercial and Corporate quotations.
- Policy renewal reviews and general administration support services to intermediaries.
- Providing a first point-of-contact query resolution service to intermediaries in respect of Commercial and Corporate Lines.
- Providing customer service in line with quality and performance standards; and
- Adhering to agreed processes to deliver targeted operational results.
- Conduct intermediary visits in accordance with the set engagement plan.
- Execute any other relevant duties as may be required.
Monitor and assess sales and market data for a specific geographic region and produce reports that will assist management in formulating strategy and identifying areas in the market where business can be developed.
Customer Needs ClarificationSet clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor standard materials to make presentations to decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization; and ask relevant questions to gather information, to evaluate the customer's level of interest, and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.
Customer Relationship Development / ProspectingDevelop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
Sales Opportunities CreationDevelop a personal network within the sales territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation.
Sell Customer PropositionsIdentify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, use personal expertise to propose quantities and product configurations, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) DataMonitor team members' use of the CRM system, identifying and resolving standard issues and escalating them to a senior manager as appropriate.
Customer Relationship Management / Account ManagementDevelop and implement a relationship management plan for existing customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues. Collect feedback from identified customers or customer segments to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses, and recommendations for changes based on customer input.
Operational ComplianceIdentify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
Personal Capability BuildingDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
