The PositionThe Business Development Consultant will be responsible to develop and implement the tactical plan according to the business strategy, with the aim to expand the current business. The role will be reporting to the Business Development & Healthcare Consultancy Lead in Roche Diagnostics Romania.
Your Responsibilities
Assess the market potential, prospect and segment the market
Identify, create appropriate business plan, develop and close new business opportunities
Create demand for the Roche Diagnostics’ products and services by raising their profile with customers
Promote and sell a portfolio of products and/or services and solutions to new customers
Promote consulting services, lead and deliver consultancy projects to customers
Together with the customer, develop and implement cost-effective approaches and process optimizations
Create a shared vision with the team, and support them with change management implementation
Responsible for implementing strategic and tactical toolkits in order to increase consultancy awareness, and deliver process consultancy projects to customers
Who You Are
You hold a University Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Medical Sciences or equivalent. Masters or higher in one of above disciplines (e.g. PhD); business management post graduate degree (e.g. MBA), with a good understanding of healthcare economics, is an advantage
You built a minimum of 4 years of work experience in Sales/Commercial in Diagnostics industry and/or B2B. Experience on selling consultancy services in healthcare sector is preferred
You built work experience with regulatory and law procedures related to the procurement and selling policies in the Romanian market, particularly in the Romanian Public Sector
You have excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, and are able to establish connections and relationships with C-suite level stakeholders
You have advanced analytical skills, and deep knowledge of competitors, product and/or diagnostics market
You have excellent influencing and negotiation skills
You are customer centric, embrace change, willing to fail fast to learn fast, have collaborative attitude, are open to feedback, and are resilient
You are fluent in English and Romanian, both written and spoken
You hold a driving license, B category, are flexible, and ready to travel within the assigned territory
