Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make low-carbon carbon housing more affordable by re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our volumetric module platform and agile production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for multifamily housing. With our first software-driven microfactory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), we are on a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly-driven, detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support our Development & Sales team.  The ideal candidate is someone who loves to roll-up their sleeves and is eager to grow their expertise in real estate sales and development.  The Business Development Associate will be a key player on a high-volume team and should be as excited as we are about coordinating the variety of tasks needed to turn a customer or partner’s idea for a new development into a completed high performance building.  We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience in real estate project management or sales.

The position is full-time, salaried, exempt. The position is hybrid with the expectation of being in the office or field three days a week. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and social media. 

  2. Project Support: Support team in moving projects from initial intake through contract execution.  Tasks may include developing proposals, cost estimates and budgets, creating presentations, and representing Reframe Systems in meetings and public forums.

  3. Pipeline Management & Reporting: Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up.  Provide regular reports and analysis to management.

  4. Relationship Building: Support Development & Sales team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects.

  5. Business Development Operations: Manage business development toolkit (including promotional materials, contract documents and contact management software) and create new tools, including presentations and contract documents.

  6. Promotional Activities: Assist in producing trade show booths, conference presentations and other public relations event opportunities.  Attend events on behalf of Reframe Systems.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development or project management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a diverse pipeline within a dynamic startup environment.

  • A natural relationship builder and networker.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive and CRM software.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, marketing, construction or a related field.

  • Understanding of real estate development finance and/or construction pricing.

  • Enthusiasm for professional growth in the real estate industry.

  • Ability to commute to our Andover, MA headquarters on in-office days.
