As a Business Development Associate, you will be in charge of developing the assigned business projects from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This position will report to the Business Development Manager. Quick wits, problem solving and a team first mentality will be critical to your success. This role is a unique opportunity to have a measurable impact on your market through the growth and optimization of the driver population on the Lalamove platform.

What you’ll do :
- Sales operations: Identify potential clients and conduct market research of the prospective clients business (B2B Clients), acquire and onboard business users by maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads, and by developing and taking care of professional relationships.
- Negotiation and closing of deals: Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working relationship with our local partners, and to ensure economic sustainability and mutual growth of the partnership
- Outreach to clients: Cold calls/emails/meetings, timely follow-ups, administrative work (contract drafting, coordination).
- Become the face of Lalamove when engaging local partners to promote our services and values.

What you’ll need :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B, enterprise or corporate sales (start-up/ logistic/ e-commerce industry is a plus)
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills
- Sound knowledge of the mobile and web technologies
- Able to speak English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Good grasp of the local business environment
- Skilled in operating Ms Excel/ Google Spreadsheet and Ms Powerpoint/ Google Slide
