At OPIS, a leading international Clinical Research Organization (CRO), we are seeking a "hungry for success" Business Development Associate who will help expand our global client network across the life sciences sector focusing on Nordics region.
As a Business Development Associate, you’ll work closely with senior team members to identify new business opportunities, research target companies, and connect with key decision-makers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. You’ll be the first point of contact for many potential clients — introducing OPIS’s services, understanding their needs, and helping them navigate how we can support their clinical research programs.
What You’ll Do:
- Reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce OPIS and its services.
- Research and analyze target organizations to identify decision-makers and map company structures.
- Conduct prospecting, cold/warm calling, and follow-ups to nurture client relationships.
- Organize meetings and teleconferences between clients and OPIS teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, track progress, and prepare regular activity reports.
- Gather feedback from existing clients and promote new service features.
- A degree or equivalent education (sales or clinical research experience is a plus).
- 1 - 3 years of experience in sales (BDR, SDR, recruitment, etc.).
- Fluent English, Swedish/Danish language with excellent communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Motivation to achieve results and contribute to team success.
- A proactive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
