Job Description

Team Summary

The Visa Thailand Business Development team is a dynamic and enthusiastic group of professionals dedicated to creating impactful experiences for our clients. What a Business Development Associate does at Visa:

In this role, you will:

  • Provide insightful analysis of client performance, market situation based on payment transactions and industry reports to support the Business Development team in client engagement and business decisions.
  • Gain a solid understanding of client portfolios and assist in developing performance management tools.
  • Assist senior Business Development team leads to develop business plans including financial planning internally and jointly with clients
  • Contribute to the execution of the country’s Business Plans, ensuring that initiatives, budgets, and KPIs of Business Development team are consistently met.
  • Support Business Development team members with administrative tasks such as tracking client and team performance.

Work you will be a part of:

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on strategically significant projects for our clients, including:

  • Providing the Management team with key inputs for decision-making and business performance. This involves managing client sales processes, internal procurement processes, and executing functional plans and Visa events.
  • Crafting client business plans, incentive plans to help clients achieve our joint targets and goals
  • Developing and maintaining effective processes and record-keeping measures to accurately track business performance, associated revenues, client partnership performance, and forecasting deal incentives. Additionally, you will support business financial planning.
  • Supporting the Business Development team with end-to-end partnership structures and the execution of client contracts.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, payments, consumer financial services, or technology with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent skill in sales, account management, presentation, and strategic thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Thai and English.
