JOB SUMMARY
The Business Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting data‑driven decision‑making across Sales, Operations, and Finance. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple business systems to deliver actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, improve customer engagement, and support financial performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, remote corporate environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using data from multiple systems, including Legasis and QuickBooks / NetSuite (financial data)
- Analyze customer, vendor, sales, and operational datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and growth opportunities
- Extract, validate, clean, and structure data from various internal and external sources to support reporting, analysis, and ad hoc requests
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis using web based tools and search platforms to support business development initiatives
- Support lead management, reporting accuracy, and data integrity initiatives within HubSpot and Knowsys
- Partner cross functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and leadership teams to improve reporting processes, data workflows, and data transparency
- Assist with system audits, data mapping, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non technical stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement of reporting tools, documentation standards, and analytics best practices
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Some environmental services industry experience preferred.
Some hazardous waste control experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
Confined Space Entry certification preferred.

Pushing / pulling: frequent daily basis
Twisting / turning: frequent daily basis
Lift items over head: frequent daily basis
Standing: 6-8 hours daily
Crouching / stooping: prolonged periods
Lifting / carrying: frequent daily up to 50 lbs
Work in confined spaces or at heights.
Required to wear a variety of personal protection equipment as required including but not limited to Tyvek suits.
Required to wear respirators as needed.
Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions during any hours during the day or night.

Salary Range: $65,000-$78,000 Annually
The compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, work experience, competencies, and skills, and may fall outside of the range shown.
