KONE India is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and this represents an opportunity for you to join our Business Controlling and Analytics team. The Business Controlling & Analytics team supports business performance by partnering closely with business leaders, in facilitating and supporting decisions with financials insights and ensuring high quality, accurate and timely reporting and forecasting in line with the KONE Financial Control Model.
The purpose of the role is also to ensure that business KPIs are logical and add value, actions are defined based on performance, and that benefit realizations are delivered. The Business Controller supports and ensures that adherence to both local and global policies is controlled. The Business Controller also executes the planning process according to guidelines with the business leaders.
What will you be doing?
- Managing and analyzing actual monthly and year to date Orders, Sales and Margins thereof
- Facilitating planning, forecasting and budget process
- Calculating and updating Labor rates & Burden rates for tendering and Order Booking
- Monitoring compliance of Orders recognition / Revenue recognition as per policy through sample check
- Managing the quality of Order Booking through KPI’s development on p2f/ p2p/ cost overrun etc.,
- Ensuring Revenue and cost recognition as per policy for completion
- Support and coordinate CORE simplification projects
- Monitoring the slow moving and non-moving projects, recognizing provisions as per policy
- Coordinate with Business team on Market trends and estimates
- Monitoring and support Cancellation of OR as per process
- Analyzing the actual profitability of completed project and share insights on p2p variance
- Support business team on Major projects tendering related commercials terms, cash flow forecast, future cost, risk & opportunity, Scenarios etc.,
- Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering in close coordination with Business leaders to align business priorities
- Other activities in line with Business requirements as and when needed
Are you the one?
- Minimum 10-15 years of industrial experience, preferably in an industrial environment, including cost planning, profitability analysis, financial modelling and business partnering
- Academic qualification – Intermediate completion of Professional course CA / ICWA / CIMA
- Advanced Microsoft excel knowledge
- SAP ERP (or similar) and BI tools working knowledge
- Excellent analytical, communication skills, coupled with the ability to build trust and collaboration among business leaders/ stakeholders
- Working knowledge of IT tools and flair for Automation
- Ability to adopt to a multi cultural environment
- Willingness to travel within and outside India
- Good organizational, process planning and change management skills, influencer in a matrix organization
- Hands on Business Partnering experience
- Proficiency in English language . Working knowledge of French , Arabic will be an added advantage
