Business Controller – Keonn (Novanta Group)
📍 Barcelona, Spain | Hybrid
Keonn, part of Novanta, is a fast‑growing RFID hardware and software business serving retail, healthcare, logistics, and industrial markets. As Keonn scales within a publicly traded global group, we are looking for a Business Controller to act as the key finance partner to the local leadership team.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional who enjoys working close to the business, translating commercial activity into financial insight, and helping build robust financial processes in a growing, technology‑driven environment.
What you’ll do
- Act as the embedded finance business partner for Keonn leadership.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for the business unit.
- Partner closely with Sales to translate pipeline and bookings into forward‑looking revenue forecasts.
- Lead reporting on bookings, backlog, shipments, and performance vs. targets.
- Support monthly accounting close in coordination with local and corporate finance teams.
- Build integrated P&L and balance sheet forecasts and support AOP and quarterly reviews.
- Deliver clear financiais insights to support decision‑making and growth.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance business partnering.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience supporting Sales or revenue forecasting.
- Solid understanding of accounting close processes.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in an evolving, growth‑stage environment.
- Background in technology, hardware, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Fluent English/Catalan required
