Business Controller

Staffing Partner Opportunity – Hiring on behalf of our Client
We’re a staffing firm recruiting for a global enterprise expanding its operations in the U.S. We are looking for a Business Controller to join our client’s team in Fontana, CA, supporting international business expansion, financial operations, and cross-functional strategy execution. This role requires strong financial acumen, operational insight, and the ability to work on-site full time.

1. Overseas Business Expansion

• Participate in the full cycle of international business development, including contract negotiation and risk assessment.

• Analyze financial risk in new partnerships and expansion efforts.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as a liaison across business, finance, tax, and legal teams.

• Ensure smooth implementation of operational processes through strong internal collaboration.

3. Financial Advisory

• Provide day-to-day financial guidance and help the business evaluate complex financial issues.

• Offer structured and practical financial solutions.

4. Operational & Financial Analysis

• Support performance analysis and improve financial/tax workflows.

• Work closely with system teams to enhance financial tools and tracking capabilities.

5. Cost Optimization & Risk Management

• Identify inefficiencies or risks within operations.

• Develop strategies to optimize costs and improve ROI.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• At least 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, controlling, or business finance roles.

• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or tech-related industries is a strong plus.

• Must be Chinese-speaking, and eligible to work onsite 5 days/week in Fontana, CA.

• Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools is preferred.

• Proven experience with P&L ownership, KPI design, and business-driven decision-making.

• Must have long-term role stability (no roles under 3 years will be considered).
