Job Description

Provide a managerial control framework for Rabobank Brazil and its local and global businesses lines, in line with strategic objectives in order to provide effective and efficient management tools to the Management Team (MT) and senior management of these businesses. Provide (pro-active) advice concerning developments and performance of the businesses vis-à-vis budget and other long-term initiatives.

Main responsibility:

  • Translates the Rabobank Brazil strategy in reports and performance indicators
  • Co-ordinates the planning and control cycle for Rabobank Brazil;
  • Initiates/develops (non-)financial performance measures and supports new performance measures of Rabobank Brazil like Economic Capital and ROIC and embed them in the Rabobank reports;
  • Ensures management reporting, including periodically reporting on actual performance, budgeting and forecasts, to the Management Team and senior management in order to provide effective and efficient management tools. It focuses on financial (P/L, B/S, ROIC, Economic Capital) and non-financial (risk, customers, processes) in various aspects aligned with Rabobank strategy: categorical, functional, geographical, client, sectors; 
  • Maintain excellent relationships with all relevant shareholders in the Netherlands and Brazil;
  • Co-ordinates (as project leader) or perform non routine/ad hoc requests from the MT or senior management of Rabobank Brazil in relation to acquisition processes, change and strategy programs, restructuring projects, reviews, in depth and targeted analysis and advice regarding ROIC, business lines or clients; 
  • Builds and maintains an internal and external relationship network and act as key contact for the MT and Senior Management of RBB  to enable the business and other departments to control and facilitate business lines developments.
  • Stays updated on the latest developments of the businesses;
  • Be a role model for other staff in F&C;
  • Prepare the monthly management financial reports;
  • Coordinate with HO the quarterly Wholesale Performance assessment;
  • Support the branch managers and relationship managers on questions related to the financial performance.

Main requirements:

  • Accounting, Economic or Administration Graduation;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Advanced excel knowledge;
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (IGRS and BR GAAP);
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
