We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Continuity team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Amman, Jordan. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Business Continuity Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining comprehensive business continuity, crisis management and disaster recovery programs across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the resilience of client’s operations and enhance their preparation for potential disruptions.
We will count on you to:
• Design and implement a robust business continuity management, crisis management and disaster recovery framework tailored to the client’s organization and sector.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and critical business functions.
• Collaborate with regional and local department heads to develop, update, and test business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies.
• Facilitate training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees on business continuity protocols.
• Organize and lead testing and simulation exercises of business continuity plans to evaluate effectiveness and readiness.
What you need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or a related field, with a strong focus on the IMEA region.
• Professional certification in business continuity (e.g., ISO 22310, CBCP, MBCI) is highly desirable.
