As a Business Continuity Assistant (BCA) you will play a crucial role in identifying potential disruptions to our global operations, assessing their impact, and developing comprehensive recovery plans. Your efforts will ensure that our business can bounce back quickly and efficiently from any significant disruption. You will analyze critical processes, identify recovery strategies, and coordinate implementation across various departments to maintain operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Develop and review Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for various sites and locations by analyzing potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Impact Analysis: Review current business impact analyses to ensure smooth operations during disasters or emergencies.
- Testing & Improvement: Regularly test and update BCPs through simulations and drills to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Education & Training: Increase awareness of business continuity throughout the organization through initiatives, and guide/train staff as required.
- BCP Management: Manage our BCP SharePoint site and maintain plans that guarantee organizational operation during emergencies.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as a BCA, preferably with a background in Environmental or Health Safety.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), problem-solving with minimal supervision, accurate and precise attention to detail, and a high level of organisation. Knowledge of Sharepoint would also preferred.
- Travel: Minimal travel required to our London office.
