Job Location: Hybrid in São Paulo, Brazil.
We are seeking a Business Consultant for our São Paulo-based Buy-side team. The role involves mastering the FactSet Core Analytics products and acting as a liaison between investment and software professionals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with diverse global teams to support prominent clients in the Asset & Wealth Management industry.
In this team you will be working with our sophisticated financial software solutions. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and FactSet’s software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in the FactSet platform, you will help clients streamline the research and analysis process.
Responsibilities:
- Work with global teams to support clients and internal stakeholders.
- Perform complex analyses and handle intricate issues related to client investment portfolios
- Continuously learn about product functionalities and financial methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in relevant field
- Knowledge and interest in capital markets, portfolio management, financial instruments
- Strong knowledge of Excel using financial formulas
- Good communication skills in client-facing situations
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Genuine curiosity and ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment
- Fluency in English, verbal and written
Desired Skills:
- Financial Background in Asset Management Industry, CIPM or CFA certification
- Experience with Performance Measurement, Business Intelligence or Reporting Solutions
- SQL/Database knowledge, preferably with select and join statements
Additional Information:
As a member of our team, you will be working with clients in the global Asset & Wealth Management Industry on B-One – a sophisticated financial software solution for Performance and Statistics Measurement, Attribution and GIPS ® in 4 main areas:
- Pre-Sales activities
You will be taking part in many core components of our Specialty Sales process, supporting the global team in activities including Preparation of detailed POCs (Proof of Concepts) using client’s data and creation of RFPs (Requests for Proposal).
- Client Implementations
You will be working with our global professional services teams on implementing the solution on both – on premise or AWS hosted – environments. The process will follow a project plan and tasks will involve gathering initial requirements, making all the necessary configurations, loading market data and the client’s portfolio data, testing, results reconciliation, training and all the required steps for completion of the implementation according to client requirements.
- Assisting our clients in Production
You will be working closely with business stakeholders on client side (such as business analysts from Performance and Reporting teams) to help them with their business requests, questions, and queries.
- Managed Services
You will act as a qualified dedicated resource helping our clients scale and maximize the value received from the solution while building a strong relationship with some of FactSet’s biggest clients. As part of the role, you’ll need to understand the business context of our clients and provide advice, guidance, and training. The main goal of the service is to deliver high quality performance numbers, ensuring all steps of the calculation workflow – from data in to results our - are flawlessly executed.
