The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving skills to provide Centric PLM solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency. The Business Consultant will be responsible for delivering Centric PLM Agile deployment projects ontime, per schedule, per responsible technical- and business goals of the company (e.g., out-of-thebox– OOTB configurations, customer business process mapping, and best practice advocacy).
You will provide business consulting and you are part of implementation teams in designing and delivering Centric PLM Solutions focused on the Retail, Apparel & Footwear Industry, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and High-Fashion market. Manage deployment projects per Centric's agile deployment methodology, delivering customer solution model per out-of-the-box Centric PLM use cases and configuration points and Centric's Agile processes. Conduct customer business process analysis, information modelling, mapping to Centric PLM configurations and interface control definitions with related systems to be integrated, data and process conversion from legacy PDM systems, provide customer guidance on process-system alignment practices, process-system validation and training and on-going
customer care. The goal is to contribute to the clients’ long-lasting success so that our reputation can expand along with our clientele.
This position will report to the Solution Team Manager, Customer Success
Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with assigned clients and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situation
  • Collect information about the client's business process, IT landscape and data usage through a variety of methods (business process analyses, interviews, surveys, reports, RFI etc.)
  • Analyze and interpret process and data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and understand the causes
  • Formulate & document recommendations and configure Centric PLM with attention to a client's wishes, Centric PLM capabilities and budget limitations forming concise documentation with the objective to make a successful project and have referenceable customers
  • Present solution findings and suggestions to clients with justification, recommendation, and practical advice
  • Train customers on Centric PLM solution according to the Centric training offerings throughout the different phases of the project
  • Organizing and execute assigned Centric PLM software implementation projects on behalf of Centric according to client's requirements and/or scope mentioned in the statement of work, SOW
  • Develop detailed implementation and communication plans, including timelines, budget, resource, and progress tracking details to drive small or big Centric PLM change initiatives
  • Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies – change management/project management
  • Provide guidance based on experience and Centric best practices for any occurring problems, issues, and planning dependencies – conflict management/project management
  • Maintain quality standards regarding methodologies, documentation, progress tracking, project administration by using internal Centric systems

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in a Computing related discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, other Engineering disciplines etc. or Degree in Business Systems
  • Degree holder in Fashion Textile, Luxury Goods and related studies may be considered
  • System modelling skills
  • Project management certifications and/or experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate fluently with both technical and business audiences both verbally and in writing in Italian and English
  • Years of experience: 5+ years
  • Strong consulting background and customer-facing skills and experience with Project Management
  • Domain knowledge in one or more below areas
    • Apparel, Footwear, Fashion, Retail, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Beauty
  • System Implementation and technology experience
    • Product life cycle (PLM)
    • Understanding the system implementation process
    • Experience in Agile deployment methodology desirable Understanding of infrastructure and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS) and familiar with SaaS model
  • Familiar with system modelling techniques (familiarity with UML an added advantage)
    • For use case analysis, solution mapping and design
  • Technical skills for software package configurations, such as:
    • Experience in pseudo-code/regular expression
    • Experience in SQL (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
    • Experience in XML and JavaScript/Typescript and REST API an added advantage
  • Technical attitude and proven self-learning skills if some of the above skills are not present and desire to sharpen technical skill sets
  • Business process mapping – BPM or other methodologies
  • Basic Project Management – Prince 2 foundation or equal
