Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and solution design for Business Central implementations.
- Hands-on AL extension development using VS Code.
- Design and implement integrations (REST/OData/APIs, middleware).
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, branching and automated deployments.
- Establish coding standards; conduct code reviews and mentor developers.
- Drive automated testing and end‑to‑end validation.
- Lead technical data migration (mapping, ETL, reconciliation).
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability and production issues.
- Oversee technical cutover and go‑live.
- Support pre‑sales with technical solution design and estimates.
- Maintain current knowledge of BC roadmap and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 4–6 years ERP technical experience; minimum ~3 years with BC/NAV development.
- Proven experience leading technical delivery on full‑lifecycle BC implementations.
- Strong AL/extension development skills.
- Strong CI/CD (Azure DevOps), source control, automated deployment experience.
- Integration experience across Financials and Operations.
- Solid understanding of GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, inventory, purchasing, sales.
- Experience with data migration/validation.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior consulting experience.
- Microsoft Business Central certifications (Developer/Functional).
- Experience with Docker sandboxes and Azure services.
- Finance/accounting background is a plus.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises/mentors 2–6 technical consultants or developers.
