ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Capability Manager owns the translation of business needs into a clear, prioritized, and value-driven roadmap for Concrete Vision capabilities. This role partners with business leaders, software leadership, technology teams, and end users to define problems, shape requirements, prioritize work, support delivery, and ensure released capabilities create measurable value.
Salary range $100,000 - $150,000. Based on location and experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Product Ownership and Roadmap
- Own or co-own the roadmap for assigned Concrete Vision business capabilities.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to business value, stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and enterprise priorities.
- Partner with leadership to define quarterly roadmap commitments and longer-term capability themes.
- Identify opportunities to deliver value incrementally through smaller releases, pilots, or targeted user-group deployments.
Business Analysis and Requirements
- Lead business discovery with leaders, subject matter experts, and end users.
- Document current-state and future-state workflows.
- Convert business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
- Ensure work is sufficiently defined before development begins.
- Maintain requirements documentation in an agreed system of record.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance/Treasury, IT, Operational Technology, and other functional areas as needed.
- Reduce bottlenecks by creating repeatable intake and requirements practices.
- Facilitate prioritization and tradeoff discussions.
- Communicate roadmap status, risks, blockers, and decisions needed.
- Support development teams throughout delivery to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
- Coordinate business validation, UAT, release readiness, training inputs, and adoption planning.
- Confirm delivered capabilities meet acceptance criteria and business objectives.
- Track value realization after release where practical.
- Identify recurring pain points, process inefficiencies, user experience gaps, and training needs.
- Recommend product and process improvements that improve speed, accuracy, visibility, usability, and adoption.
- Help mature the Concrete Vision product operating model over time.

The ideal candidate has experience in product management, business analysis, or process improvement, with a proven ability to gather requirements, prioritize work, influence stakeholders, and drive user adoption across cross-functional teams. They are a strong communicator, skilled problem-solver, and continuous improvement advocate who thrives in fast-paced environments supporting software, operational, or enterprise system initiatives.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- 7+ years in product management, product ownership, business analysis, business systems, or process improvement.
- Experience supporting custom software, enterprise applications, ERP/MES/CRM, construction management systems, manufacturing systems, or operational platforms.
- Manufacturing, construction, precast, building products, engineering, project management, or make-to-order environments. (Preferred)
- Experience working with legacy systems undergoing modernization. (Preferred)
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable backlog/work management tools. (Preferred)
- Experience supporting user adoption, training, release planning, and UAT. (Preferred)
