Business Architect / Business Analyst, Technology Solutions (Cards)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Architect / Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the Group’s major re-platform implementation for our Cards Management System across the regions. The Business Architect / Business Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and technology teams, to define and shape the strategic vision for our cards management processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the card lifecycle and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the card lifecycle in the respective regions, including card issuing, merchant acquiring, and card payment industrial requirements. Design and document end-to-end card lifecycle business process models, system and business architecture diagrams, product lifecycle, interfaces, data flows, and integration points with other systems. Collaborate with business leaders and product managers:

  • to understand regional business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.
  • to define and prioritize system enhancements and new features.

Collaborate with Cards system vendor and internal technology teams to ensure the system implementation is aligned with business requirements and industry best practices. Evaluate business processes, conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies, and provide compelling and innovative solutions. Analyze and evaluate existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Provide guidance and support to business analysts and development teams across different phases of implementation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, latest technology, and best practices in modernizing systems and automating processes.

Good knowledge of consumer and corporate cards’ product lifecycle (credit card, debit card, unsecured loans) and business process. Knowledge in other credit product domain would be added advantages. Experience in Digital Banking & business process reengineering project will be added advantages. Possess business analysis experience. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required. Good oral and written communication skills, including documentation and presentation skills. Comfortable communicating across business divisions and levels of seniority Experience in agile/SCRUM deliver/SDLC, digital initiatives involving technologies such as microservices, API, cloud etc. will be added advantages.
