About the program 

The Business Applications Internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. Working in the support queue, helping with testing of projects, working with communities, taking on some small projects, participating in trainings with the team and more. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization 
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments 
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities 
  • Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship 
  • Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities 
  • Develop business case for assignment. Clearly stating the business value, resources needed and key milestones for project.
  • Work closely with manager on weekly updates against key milestones.
  • Develop rollout plan with IT and business users. 
  • Reconcile the success of the project against original business case.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program 
  • Minimum of 2 years completed towards bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field 
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization 
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week program
