What you will do
Lighthouse is looking for a pioneering Business Applications Architect to shape our business technology strategy in this newly created, high-impact role. As our first dedicated Business Applications Architect, you’ll map our technology landscape, streamline processes, and optimize workflows across our growing organization, including newly acquired entities.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution. You’ll lead technology integration projects, particularly from M&A activity, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with our vision. You’ll also advise business users on tooling choices, guiding evaluations, integrations, and workflow designs. Collaboration with key stakeholders—including the CISO, IT Operations, and Security teams—is essential to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
We seek a big-picture thinker who can also dive into details and drive projects to completion. Strong experience in managing technology integrations, improving efficiency, and working across both technical and business teams is essential (M&A experience is a plus). Where you will have impact
- Establish and lead the Enterprise Architecture function for Lighthouse, shaping its technology strategy and ensuring coherence across the organization.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive overview of the technology landscape, including acquired companies, identifying overlaps and opportunities.
- Actively identify, propose, and drive initiatives focused on streamlining processes, optimizing cross-departmental workflows, and boosting operational efficiency.
- Lead and facilitate the technology integration workstreams for M&A activities, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Partner with business users as a key advisor for new tooling requests, from initial evaluation and sanity checks through to integration and workflow setup.
- Collaborate closely and daily with the CISO, IT Operations, and Security teams to ensure architectural solutions are secure, scalable, and operationally sound.

Who you are
- A strategic thinker capable of understanding the broad, interconnected technology and business process landscape ("big picture").
- Possess a hands-on mentality, willing to delve into technical details and actively participate in driving projects to successful completion.
- Experienced in mapping complex technology ecosystems and analysing cross-functional business workflows to identify improvements.
- Proven experience implementing ecosystems of key 3rd party business applications (such as HR, Finance, Customer Support), including designing and building robust integrations (API-led, etc.) essential for optimizing cross-departmental processes.
- Proven ability to drive efficiency gains through process optimization and technology leverage.
- An excellent collaborator and communicator, adept at working effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with experience managing technology implementations or integrations.

- Direct experience specifically leading or facilitating the technology integration aspects of M&A.
- Prior experience in establishing or being the foundational member of an Enterprise Architecture function within an organization.
- Demonstrated success operating within a fast-paced, growing (scale-up) company environment undergoing change.
