The Impact of a Business Applications Admin - Salesforce CPQ to Coupa:
The Business Applications Admin - Salesforce CPQ role requires an experienced admin with a deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ. This role will be expected to manage and maintain our CPQ configuration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CPQ functionality, Salesforce platform, and business processes. This role will work with product owners and business analysts to configure CPQ solutions according to the specifications provided. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the quoting process.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to ensure alignment on the technical specifications and information needed for configuration.
- Manage and maintain CPQ configuration, including product catalogs, price books, and quoting processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ issues.
- Manage product data, pricing information, and discount structures.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CPQ system.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across the CPQ system.
- Provide technical support to business analysts, product owners and business users as needed around CPQ functionality.
- Act as an SME on the business applications team on CPQ technical capabilities and configuration
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- 2+ years of experience in Salesforce CPQ
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and functionality.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ and areas such as price rules, product rules, discount schedules, price dimensions, multi dimensional quoting, usage based pricing, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, etc.) is a plus.
