The Jira Administrator will be responsible for identifying, developing and deploying end-user solutions on different systems and applications from the Atlassian portfolio used at Cognyte such as JIRA, work management, product discovery (JWM, JPD) etc., ensuring that client business requirements are met while providing a variety of advisory services around project management, business process development, implementation support and end-user training.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Help determine and translate customer needs into a solution and approach
- Plan, track and manage projects
- Write detailed designs for the development team and work closely to ensure development is executed according to the designs
- Define, map and analyze business processes and design technology solutions to enhance business operations around industry best practices Analyze business “to-be”, inspect “as-is” and perform gap analysis to develop recommendations to achieve objectives
- Understand and make recommendations on technical software design and specifications
- Help with testing the developments
- Be a team player and work in collaboration with the rest of the team
- Manage day to day work, solve problems, find mitigations and manage risks
Requirements
For that mission you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business/Engineering
- 2+ years of admin experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence
- experience in an IT Business Analyst or similar role would be an advantage
- Experience working with enterprise-wide systems
- Experience in leading large-scale projects from requirements gathering to effectively communicating with the business and technical team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to document both functional information and processes
- Possess communication skills in English: verbal, written and presentation
- Ability to partner with software development team members, to communicate a detailed understanding of business requirements
