The Business Application Director is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of business applications within the organization. This role ensures that business applications align with the company's goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support business processes. The director will lead groups of business application professionals across various domains, collaborate with multiple departments, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality application services.
About The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the strategic plan for business applications, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage groups of application developers, analysts, and administrators to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in business applications to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Streamline processes and data flows: Ensure seamless integration and data modeling to optimize business processes and data flow.
- Work towards impact: Data oriented management, proactively initiate solutions to increase efficiency and visibility across the organization. Achieve customer satisfaction while considering scalability, performance, and UX/UI.
- Program Management and execution: Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term program related to business applications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that business applications support their goals.

Requirements
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Business Applications, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing business applications.
- Experience in scaling and hyper-growth companies - preferred Saas
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in program management, and business applications software in various domains such as CRM, marketing, HR, ERP systems, and more.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders (including a high level of English).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Program Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale business application projects, with knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating and managing vendor contracts and relationships.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and how business applications can enhance business performance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
