Job Title: Business and System Analyst

Location: Algeciras, Spain.

Maersk are looking for a Business and Systems Analyst to join our team based in Algeciras, Spain to lead, or participate, in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems, within technology business systems

One of the 4 core strategic pillars in APMTs longer term strategy is operational excellence: “This is our platform for current and new terminals, where all value streams are standard, scalable, and replicable from acquisition, to construction, integration and all the way down to running a terminal”.

Implementing, optimizing and scaling Operations Technology will play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic goals, ranging from initiatives like implementing complex brownfield automation at fast pace to optimize manhours per move or efforts to optimize running-hours per move by deploying asset digitization in our more conventional terminals.

To be successful, our terminals need to be supported by a focused, aligned and agile global team that adds value by Subject Matter Expertise, standardization and agile decision-making.

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
• Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
• Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
• Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
• Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

We are looking for -

• Substantial experience with Requirement Gathering, Testing (System Integration, Regression, User Acceptance), Business Analysis, or Ops-Production support role.
• Experience in Business Requirement ‘s and Functional Specification Document Reviews.
• Someone who has experience providing Defect triage, Test summary and Test Status Reporting and Utilization.
• Conduct meetings and reviews as required with relevant stakeholders.
• Experience with engaging & collaborating with end users as part of End User Testing.
• Ensure Strict adherence to timelines and focus on deliverables.
• Show an understanding and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met.
• Prefer to understand & speak – Spanish to collaborate with LATAM and other clients
