We are seeking a Business Analyst (IT) to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the IT organization, driving successful delivery of system enhancements, reporting solutions, applications, and process improvements.  This role will focus heavily on requirements gathering, testing, coordination, and solution deployment while supporting enterprise reporting initiatives and business intelligence tools.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and organizational skills, experience leading testing efforts, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across reporting, Power Platform development, system enhancements, and process improvement projects. This individual will work closely with business users, developers, and our internal IT team to ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and production teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Support and enhance D365 system maintenance by identifying process gaps, troubleshooting issues, and leading improvements.
  • Conduct testing (system, integration, automation, and user acceptance testing) to validate business and system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for leadership and operational teams.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to automate workflows and enhance business efficiency.
  • Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for reporting and decision-making.
  • Partner with functional business teams to support system integrations between ERP, analytics tools, and other business applications.
  • Provide training and support to end users to ensure adoption of new tools, reports, and system enhancements.
Qualifications

 

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Experience leading or coordinating testing efforts including system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience supporting reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or other project management and testing tools.
  • Experience supporting Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and release management processes.
