Position: Business Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to lead and
deliver business analysis activities across complex initiatives. This role
involves engaging stakeholders, analyzing business needs, supporting project
coordination, and contributing to continuous improvement of systems and
processes, particularly within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Lead
and conduct business analysis across all project phases aligned with
standardized methodologies (Agile, SDLC, enterprise frameworks)
- Provide
comprehensive I&IT business analysis services, including stakeholder
engagement and advisory support
- Perform
end-to-end requirements gathering, business modeling, and analysis of
transformation initiatives
- Identify,
analyze, and resolve defects in collaboration with relevant teams
- Conduct
impact analysis and produce detailed requirement specifications
- Apply
re-engineering and lean concepts to identify cost-effective improvements
Project Coordination
- Develop
and maintain project plans, schedules, and status tracking
- Coordinate
meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications
- Manage
risks, issues, dependencies, and action items
- Support
cross-functional alignment across teams and deliverables
- Assist
with change management, onboarding, and communications
Relationship Management & Communication
- Lead
stakeholder sessions to assess business challenges and opportunities
- Translate
business requirements into actionable technical solutions
- Liaise
with development, QA, and third-party vendors
- Present
complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop
business processes, user documentation, and training materials
- Provide
expert troubleshooting and issue escalation support
Business Knowledge
- Conduct
gap analysis for system upgrades and process improvements
- Develop
business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses
- Perform
data modeling, process modeling, and requirements definition
- Monitor
project progress and report to leadership
- Establish
performance measures and evaluate outcomes
- Ensure
compliance with accessibility and design standards
Operational Support
- Maintain
documentation such as change requests, implementation plans, and
operational guides
- Support
creation and review of deployment and operational documentation
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Knowledge
of relevant legislative frameworks and digital service standards
- Experience
conducting user research (interviews, workshops, usability analysis)
- Strong
communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience
applying lean/re-engineering concepts to optimize processes
- Proficiency
in MS Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Miro)
Business Analysis Experience
- Extensive
experience delivering full-cycle business analysis
- Expertise
in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation
- Experience
supporting production environments, including log analysis and issue
resolution
- Ability
to develop best practices and standardize business analysis processes
- Strong
experience in process improvement and transformation initiatives
Business & IT Knowledge
- Experience
working with complex data environments and systems
- Strong
understanding of data quality, access, and governance practices
- Knowledge
of cloud-based technologies and modern IT solutions
- Awareness
of industry trends and emerging technologies
Stakeholder & Communication Skills
- Strong
leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Exceptional
analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven
ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams
