Business Analyst
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for tax-related data products.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and brainstorming sessions to elicit clear, actionable requirements.
- Support the project team in defining workflows, data models, and implementation specifications.
- Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations to align client needs with technological solutions.
- Ensure the successful delivery of project milestones within the outlined schedule.
Acts as the bridge between business users and engineering teams for report-aligned data products.
Capture reporting and data requirements
• Define KPIs and business metrics
• Validate outputs against source reports
• Support UAT and sign-offs
• Document business logic and definitions
SQL, data analysis, data modeling basics
Domain knowledge, communication, stakeholder management
Databricks SQL, BI tools
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in Business Analysis & Consulting, with experience in tax or financial services being highly desirable.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and workflow diagrams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret insights relevant to business needs.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
