Job Description Summary

The Project & Development Services team offer a full suite of offerings from Project Management, Cost Management, Building Consultancy, MEP Design, Workplace, Interior Design, Programme Management Office (PMO) and Design & Build to our clients.
This position supports the growth of the Project & Development Services (PDS) division through accurate financial analysis, automated reporting, Power BI dashboards and forecasting. Partnering with regional leaders, the analyst drives operational efficiency, supports strategic decisions and delivers ad-hoc insights to improve project profitability and regional performance.
This is a regional position which provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in evaluating the financial performance of the PDS business operations across Asia Pacific. It also provides the potential for future employment opportunities within the Company.

Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and build Power BI dashboards, reports and data models; create and maintain standardized templates for monthly business reviews and late-month forecasts.
  • Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions; roll out forecast templates monthly to ensure accurate projections.
  • Integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, Excel, databases, cloud platforms); execute monthly and AOP data loading, troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor data quality and ensure report accuracy and consistency; be a key contributor to the automation initiative for financial data collection, analytics and presentation using Power Query and Power BI.
  • Automate reporting processes and improve existing workflows; support stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis and insights.
  • Perform monthly review and analysis of actual reported P&L vs plan; deep-dive into financial systems to investigate results and transactions as required.
  • Prepare ad-hoc presentations, analyses and reports for the PDS Regional team and other stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with the ability to identify and proactively resolve issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and self-motivated
  • Meticulous, attention to details and diligent in dealing with large set of data.
  • Resourceful and able to complete tasks in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Data Analytics, IT, finance/accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in large multinational companies. Experience in accounting/finance related field a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Bi and Power Query, ability to manage huge data set and present them in meaningful financial analysis.
  • Able to communicate well in English and good presentation skills
  • Knowledge in Hyperion Essbase and Smartsheet preferred but not essential
