Credence is hiring an experienced Business Analyst to play a crucial role supporting government organizations by ensuring that technology solutions align with business and mission goals. The Business Analyst will facilitate decision-making, meetings and create process documentation to improve solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and overall success. As organizations are increasingly using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate solutions, the Business Analyst is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, enabling organizations to make data-driven decisions that drive success, providing strategic recommendations to improve processes and achieve business/organization goals.
Requirements
- Analyze Business Needs: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, impact, success criteria), ensuring clarity and understanding of project objectives.
- Process Improvement: Create and update workflows, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to optimize business processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to create actionable insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes for new features and workflows.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and current state and future state process models documentation.
- Implementation Support: Participate in QA and UAT testing and validating new systems and processes.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring an understanding of project objectives.
- Reporting: Generate reports and contribute to project documentation to communicate findings effectively to executives and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Science, in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to various stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong understanding of business, mission operations and/or IT systems.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust or Security Clearance (preferred).
Preferred Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant Business Analyst certification (e.g., CCBA, CBAP)
- Experience using User-centered design, creating usability goals and metrics, user characteristics, environment, tasks and workflow of a product.
- Experience supporting Defense Logistics Agency or other government Agencies.
