What will you be doing in this role?
- Analyze and interpret business requirements.
- Document business requirements clearly and comprehensively.
- Conduct business model analysis.
- Perform business process analysis and optimization.
- Develop and maintain business process models.
- Analyze functional requirements and business cases.
- Perform risk analysis and propose mitigation measures.
- Assist in the preparation of business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans.
- Engage with policy and business stakeholders to understand their operational needs, assess how existing data and system platforms can support them, and document the findings and recommendations accordingly.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master's degree in IT and minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's in IT and minimum 5 years of experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business model analysis and modelling and requirement elicitation.
- At least 3 years of experience with BPMN and/or UML.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing mockups and wireframes using tools such as Balsamiq.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing conceptual data models.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile).
- Good knowledge of information systems matters.
- Business Analyst certification – BABOK and/or knowledge of PM² Methodology will be considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is required (C1 level).
