Job Summary

The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Business Analyst. 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst II to support and optimize our finance and accounting operations of NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, deep familiarity with NetSuite, and exceptional skills in requirement gathering and stakeholder management. You will act as a liaison between the accounting teams, finance teams and our technical resources, ensuring business needs are accurately captured and translated into scalable solutions.

What You Will Do As a Business Analyst II

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with accounting, finance, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Document business processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities related to ERP, and other financial applications.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and stories in Jira.
  • Collaborate with developers, administrators, and vendors to implement NetSuite enhancements and make sure we’re delivering on the needs of the business.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, release notes, and ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage the roadmap and product backlog.
  • Support financial operations including month-end close, internal and external reporting, and compliance through system improvements.

What You Will Bring As A Business Analyst II

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field or relevant work experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years working directly with an ERP system like NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit support helpful.
  • NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certification is a plus.
  • Insurance background is a plus.
  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar is a plus.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments and helping drive best practices with implementation teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and data driven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member 

Pay Range*: $86,300 - $120,800

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.  
 
Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
