Business Analyst

What success looks like in this role:

• Gains familiarity with Business Systems Analysis concepts, practices and methodologies.
• Supports assigned aspects of specific projects and/or serves as one of several associates on a given project.
• With guidance, performs standard Business Systems Analysis duties, including:
 o Working with Information Technology (IT) and business stakeholders to understand, outline and map targeted business processes,
 o Identifying process related problems, opportunities and solutions,
 o Helping translate opportunities into user story creation,
 o Test planning and execution,
 o Documentation and report generation,
 o System/application implementation, and
 o Issue identification and resolution.
• Learns and applies Unisys standards and policies associated with business, technical and related analytical practices.
• Assists with special projects as assigned.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, etc.) and visualization software (Tableau, Power BI).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

· Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook

· Experience in delivering high caliber soft skills including time management, interpersonal skills and customer service

· Accuracy and attention to detail in work is a must; as is the ability to set priorities and handle multiple deadline
