We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong technical acumen and solid analytical skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. The role will involve engaging in technical discussions, resolving issues, managing user stories, backlogs and prioritising work across stakeholders.
Location: Remote in Europe
Key responsibilities:
- Write user stories and manage backlogs, ensuring requirements are clear and actionable
- Coordinate requests for changes and resolve issues with stakeholders and technical teams
- Support and lead Agile ceremonies
- Contribute to technical problem solving and discussions, ensuring solutions are feasible and aligned with both business and technical needs
- Use Jira to track and report on tasks, dependencies and progress
- Support future planning by identifying and prioritising enhancements and features
- Apply conceptual understanding of GitHub and GitHub Actions to support internal processes and ensure alignment with business standards
Required skills & experience:
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT of software-driven projects, ideally with a strong technical orientation
- Experience leading or assisting Agile ceremonies
- Commercial understanding of GitHub and GitHub Actions, including repositories, branching models, and workflows
- Ability to actively engage in technical discussions, bridge the gap between business and technical teams, and resolve issues
- Hands on experience with Jira for tracking, reporting and managing requests
- Strong analytical mindset with a technical orientation
- Able to write user stories and manage backlogs effectively
Desirable skills:
- Scrum Master certification, or equivalent Agile certification
- Experience defining GitHub rule sets or policies across repositories
- GitHub certification
