Job DescriptionTo identify, analyse and document improvement opportunities across various lines of Business and Functions by conducting critical analysis within the Business Line or Function in order to enhance process and system functionality, identifying the current operating functionality and providing recommendations for the future.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Computer Science, specialising in Software Engineering
Additional InformationExperience:
- 4-5 years: Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions.
- 8-10 years: Proven experience in modern engineering practices i.e. dev ops, agile etc., Proven experience across multiple, broad IT Engineering disciplines, with demonstrated specialisation in at least one. Experience within the required scope of expertise.
- Experience specialising in C-Sharp and Java will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and identify opportunities for enhancement across various lines of business by identifying business process pain points as well as opportunities for automation in order to enhance the operating efficiency of the respective business line and process.
- Analyse solutions to automate manual business processes by utilising Automation, workflow or other recognised technologies enhancing process efficiencies and ultimately Business efficiency.
- Measure and produce metric dashboards by identifying and tracking Management Information System (MIS) and department performance data in order to present / deliver daily statistics to business.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative information for weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly status reports on all projects to ensure visibility and value add to the business and actively notify the relevant stakeholders of any potential delays or risks to the project.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot potential new processes and systems to effectively design with external vendors and suppliers optimal solutions and effectively measure the change associated with the improvements.
