Job Title: Business System Analyst – Real-Time Payments (RTP)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA) with expertise in Real-Time Payments (RTP). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of The Clearing House (CHIPS) payment system workflow and the ability to map and integrate RTP solutions with payment service providers. The BSA will play a crucial role in analyzing, documenting, and facilitating the integration of RTP systems to enhance transaction efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payments System Analysis: Analyze the end-to-end Real-Time Payments (RTP) system flow, including transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Integration & Mapping: Work with payment service providers to design and implement the integration of The Clearing House (CHIPS) payment system.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements for RTP implementation.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current payment workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure RTP processes align with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless RTP implementation.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test cases to validate payment system integrations and confirm expected functionality.
- Technical Documentation: Create detailed process flows, system integration maps, user guides, and business requirements documents (BRD).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst in the payments industry.
- Strong knowledge of Real-Time Payments (RTP), The Clearing House (CHIPS), SWIFT, and ACH systems.
- Experience in payment system integration, mapping workflows, and API-based payment solutions.
- Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standards and payment processing regulations.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL for data analysis and documentation.
- Ability to work independently with payment service providers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
