The Role
The Business Analyst provides liaison between IT and business stakeholders to facilitate the problem definition, solution design, and implementation of business processes and systems within an organization. Overall, the BA’s role is about understanding business needs, analyzing processes and translating requirements into actionable solutions that drive business success, using your analytical thinking and familiarity with both operational systems and AI-powered tools. There are 3 levels of expertise to the role: Junior Business Analyst, Business Analyst, and Senior Business Analyst. 
Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements for implementation teams;

• Process Analysis and Improvement: Assess current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance, while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk aversion;

• Data Analysis: Work with data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive business strategies;

• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders and implementation teams to design solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives;

• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Act as liaisons between business and technical teams, facilitating effective communication, managing expectations, and ensuring that all parties are aligned throughout the project lifecycle;

• Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements and deliver the intended business value;

• Change Management: Help manage the impact of changes introduced by new systems or processes, including training, documentation, and support for stakeholders affected by the changes.

To be considered you should have:

• Proven experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operational efficiency roles. Previous experience in financial institutions and/or the fintech industry is a plus;
• AI literacy: Ability to work with and adapt to AI-powered tools (e.g., chatbots, CRM automation, predictive analytics);

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights;

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams;

• Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis and visualization as well as demand management monitoring (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Figma, BI, etc.); 

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting;

• Adaptability and willingness to learn new methodologies and technologies;

• Sense of timeliness, proactive risk management and adherence to deadlines.
