Why we're hiring:

WPP is on a global transformation journey and this is an opportunity to join the Enterprise Data Group to support and enhance the rollout of Operational Insights and Reporting tools. The Business Analyst will be responsible for a variety of activities starting with gap analysis of source data to understanding and documenting business requirements & constraints and supporting the debugging and enhancement of existing activations. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Elicit and document data and functional requirements from OpCos
  • Liaise with other EDG teams in supporting cross-system applications and programs
  • Understand internal systems and operations and be SME or initial point of contact for business systems and data (ERP, Wrike, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Model/prototype/build reports & dashboards to support finance & operations reporting needs
  • Model/prototype custom reports/applications to support quick POCs
  • Fully comprehend Client agency data model and be an internal SME for all client related data (existing reports & dashboards, incremental requirements, gap analysis for new market activation, etc.) 

What you'll need:

  • Business Analysis: Elicit, analyze and document business requirements
  • Data Analysis: Browse, process & analyze data sets, investigate and uncover data—related issues, look for patterns and insights in data
  • Coding/Scripting (optional): Write/model applications/reports in scripting languages and/or data analysis frameworks
  • Collaboration & Negotiation: Work with other technical and data teams to get and share information and data
  • Presentation: Present analysis and findings to Exec-level audiences, set expectations, elicit direction and decisions
