Scrumconnect Consulting is a UK national, award-winning SME digital consultancy with over 300 consultants across the UK. We partner with public sector organisations to design and deliver impactful, user-centred digital services that improve millions of lives.
We place equal importance on our people, culture and work-life balance as we do on delivering high-quality services. Collaborative, entrepreneurial and problem-solving by nature, we build high-performing teams that drive sustainable digital transformation.
We're not just a consultancy; we're a community, with a strong culture of learning, knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
Our consultants are highly experienced, typically bringing 10+ years of expertise in solving complex problems.
We build handpicked, high-performing teams with strong empathy, trust and a user-first mindset.
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join an agile delivery team building digital services for UK government clients.
You'll act as the link between stakeholders and technical teams, making sure business needs are understood, clarified and turned into clear requirements.
Work with stakeholders to understand and clarify what needs to be done, and tie it to business priorities.
Gather, analyse and document requirements as user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases and process flows.
Analyse current ("as-is") processes and systems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design the future ("to-be") state.
Run workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
Work with the Product Owner to prioritise and refine the backlog.
Support testing and user acceptance, and check that what is delivered meets the need.
Turn findings into clear documentation that supports decisions, delivery and governance.
Keep requirements in line with data protection, governance and security standards, such as GDPR.
Essential:
BPSS clearance (or the ability to obtain it).
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience documenting as-is and to-be processes and data flows.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly.
Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
Desirable:
Experience in UK government or public sector digital delivery, and knowledge of the GDS Service Standard.
Experience on data-related projects, working with data engineering and analytics teams.
Process modelling skills (for example, BPMN).
Business analysis certification (for example, BCS or IIBA).
As part of our team, you will benefit from:
Exposure to major public sector digital transformation programmes.
A collaborative and inclusive working culture, with a strong focus on learning and knowledge-sharing.
Opportunities for learning, development and certification.
Work-life balance and flexible working.

If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an interview.
