Position: Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct requirement-gathering and clarification sessions with business stakeholders.
· Understand existing business processes and translate business needs into functional requirements.
· Prepare and maintain:
1. Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
2. Functional Requirement Documents / Specifications
3. User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
4. Process Flows / Workflow Diagrams
· Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
· Coordinate with business, development, QA, and other project stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
· Conduct requirement walkthroughs with development and QA teams.
· Support developers during implementation by providing functional clarifications.
· Review test cases to ensure adequate requirement coverage.
· Support SIT/UAT activities, defect analysis, and business validation.
· Perform impact analysis for new requirements and change requests.
· Track requirements from initial discussion through implementation and closure.
· Learn the organization's product, processes, and domain requirements as part of the project.
Mandatory Skills
· 4+ years of Business Analyst experience.
· Strong requirement gathering and analytical skills.
· Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
· Experience working with development and QA teams.
· Strong documentation skills.
· Ability to understand workflows, business rules, validations, roles, and approval processes.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to independently interact with stakeholders and drive requirement clarifications.
· Willingness and ability to learn a new product/domain quickly.
Preferred Skills
· Experience working on enterprise applications or workflow-based systems.
· Experience with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models.
· Exposure to UAT, test-case review, defect triage, and release activities.
· Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
· Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, ERP, CRM, or other enterprise domains would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
