Join Qantas in our brand-new Product and Innovation Centre located in Adelaide, by meeting consumer needs by translating customer insights and market data into actionable product enhancements, ensuring solutions are continuously improved to deliver meaningful, user-centric experiences.
As the Business Analyst, you will partner with the Product Manager to translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable solutions and user stories that align and engage delivery teams. You bring a strong customer focus, expertise in agile and analytics, and confidence working with stakeholders to generate insights, drive feature and process improvements, and support informed decision-making.
You’ll have:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Technology or Marketing
- Experience across AI, web, app, CRM, telephony, and/or consultant booking platforms will be highly regarded, as we are recruiting for multiple roles
- Proven success working in large, cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of modern frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Design thinking, HCD, multivariate testing, Continuous Improvement
- Solid experience establishing and executing reports in a digital analytics or business intelligence (BI) tool, preferably Adobe Analytics and ability to compare data sets to deduce accurate insights
- Skilled in writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria for developers, testers, and stakeholders
- Robust stakeholder engagement and management skills (day-to-day interpersonal, structured workshops, showcases, and customer journey walkthroughs across all seniority levels)
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and is proactive with initiative and a bias for the customer
- Enjoys contributing to strong team dynamics and culture
- Proficient in collaboration tools like Miro, JIRA and Confluence for documentation and story management
