Business Analyst, VRS Insights - ISG & Cross Coverage ORD Support, Director, LCD Data and Analytics
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director in the Legal and Compliance division. The candidate will be expected to translate complex business needs into actionable insights, scalable reporting outputs, management information and process improvements for stakeholders across the US, EMEA and APAC
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Director-level Business Analyst role within the Visualization & Reporting Solutions (VRS) Insights team, part of the Global Data & Analytics team (D&A), supporting Non-Financial Risk (NFR) teams.

What you'll do in the role:
Lead engagement with regional and global stakeholders to elicit, challenge, document and prioritize business requirements for reporting, analytics and process improvement initiatives.
Own the preparation and enhancement of recurring management information and reporting for operational risk programs, including incidents, issues, metrics, actions and senior governance updates.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, themes, exceptions, control gaps and emerging risk areas requiring management attention.
Establish data validation, reconciliation and quality control routines to improve accuracy, consistency, completeness and reliability of reporting outputs.
Develop business insights, executive-ready presentations and dashboard requirements using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint and related reporting tools.
Drive ad hoc analysis, business reviews and deep dives on current and emerging risks, providing clear recommendations and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Data & Analytics, Governance, Coverage and Technology teams to manage delivery priorities, resolve dependencies and drive continuous improvement across global reporting processes.
What you'll bring to the role:
8-10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, reporting, data analytics, consulting, operational risk, governance or financial services roles
Bachelor's degree required; Legal & Compliance, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline preferred
Proven experience leading requirements gathering, business analysis and solution definition, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear reporting, analytics and process improvement outcomes
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with practical experience in Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization and reporting tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a disciplined focus on data quality, controls and attention to detail
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, work to tight deadlines and collaborate effectively across teams, functions and regions
Sound understanding of operational risk, governance, controls, issue management or related regulatory reporting processes would be beneficial
The role requires an experienced professional who can independently engage senior stakeholders, define business requirements, shape reporting and analytics solutions, and drive execution across global teams
