Join our dynamic team to drive agile transformation in financial services, with a focus on lending operations. This senior role requires hands-on backlog management expertise to optimize product delivery in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead agile backlog grooming, prioritization, and refinement for lending platform initiatives, collaborating with product owners, developers, and stakeholders.
Analyze business requirements in financial services, translating complex lending workflows (e.g., loan origination, underwriting) into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure on-time delivery of high-value features.
Conduct gap analysis on existing lending processes and recommend data-driven improvements using agile metrics (velocity, burndown).
Partner with compliance and risk teams to embed regulatory standards into backlogs.
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, with at least 3 years in lending (e.g., commercial, consumer, or mortgage lending).
Proven expertise in agile backlog management using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of financial services domains, including loan lifecycle management and regulatory compliance (e.g., Dodd-Frank, FCRA).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
nCino certification or hands-on experience with nCino platform for lending operations (huge plus).
Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or similar CRM integrations.
Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL) for backlog forecasting.
Scrum Master (CSM) or Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
Background in fintech startups or mid-sized banks scaling lending tech.
