Be responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation support for processes in your area of responsibility and will deliver them within agreed to deadlines and ensure service quality is maintained. You will ensure that all activities comply with standard operating procedures and legal requirements, including data privacy considerations and work with other team members to ensure that end-to-end processes are efficient and accurate, including data input and maintenance. You will deal with access requests/issues and identify and act on continuous improvement opportunities.

The Business Analyst, Sustainability Disclosures, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data for external reporting and internal strategic decision-making. This role acts as a critical bridge between business requirements, data owners, and technical teams, focusing on the end-to-end process of data collection, validation, analysis, and disclosure, particularly for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and carbon footprint initiatives.
he Business Analyst, Sustainability Disclosures will work with the Climate and Impact team leads to ensure that the day to day activities required for internal and external reporting are executed as per guidelines. The team member will drive process improvements, support system integrations with other MDS teams, and ensure that MDLZ's sustainability disclosures meet stringent regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
This position is accountable for:• Data Governance & Quality Assurance:
o Implement and enforce controls on data received for GHG emissions calculation, reviewing data from various owners for consistency, completeness, and adherence to established protocols.
o Identify, highlight, and track potential data discrepancies, collaborating closely with data owners and the Climate Team to facilitate timely corrections and data improvement.
o Verify the consistency of data transformations and updates within internal systems (e.g., Power Apps) and validate the accuracy of data uploaded to sustainability platforms like Watershed.
o Support robust data collection processes from suppliers, including reviewing incoming data (e.g., Excel files for farm-level data) for quality and consistency.• Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure:
o Organize and execute data extraction processes from the Watershed system to fulfill requirements for various internal and external ESG reports (e.g., CDP, regulatory disclosures).
o Populate external questionnaires and reporting templates by mapping extracted data, analyzing results, drafting responses, and compiling supporting evidence.
Suppliers data collection and communication support related to supply chain engagement• Process & System Improvement Initiatives:
o Act as a key liaison to identify, define, and communicate required changes and enhancements for data collection tools (e.g., Power Apps) based on evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and corrective actions.
o Plan, prepare for, and actively support the implementation of ESG Data Hub project phases, ensuring seamless integration of new data sources, standards, and systems.
o Collaborate with other MDS teams and 3P supplier teams (e.g., Watershed team) to understand system functionalities, address technical details, and manage changes to data collection tools.• Stakeholder Collaboration & Management:
o Foster very close collaboration with the Climate Team, Business Units and other MDS teams
o Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs (e.g., specific customer footprints) and provide insights into MDLZ's carbon sources and reduction progress.
