Knowledge & Experience Requirements

1.    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Economics, Business

Administration or a related field.

2.    1-3 years of relevant experience supporting business development by identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement within a department.

3.    A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

Skills

1.    Listening to users, interpreting needs, and providing support.

2.    Preparing easily consumable reports, professional e-mails, and correspondence.

3.    Exercising sound judgment and creativity in making decisions.

4.    Communicating effectively orally and in writing.

5.    Interacting professionally with various levels of Metro employees and outside representatives.

6.    Compile, analyze, and communicate system information and data.

7.    Think and act independently.

8.    Find creative solutions to problems.

9.    Handle highly confidential information.

10.  Meet tight time constraints and deadlines.

11.  Train users in implemented systems.

12.  Read, write, speak, and understand English
