Position Overview:
A highly experienced Business Analyst is needed to support data management projects through data mapping, profiling, and quality testing while ensuring customer needs are clearly understood and documented. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills and involves working in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments to deliver effective business solutions.
Duties:
Elicit and document customer-centric requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to enhance business and technical processes
Serve as the voice of the customer by collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and user needs
Develop deep knowledge of business applications and data management practices to effectively represent customer interests throughout the SDLC
Create and update process documentation using BPMN 2.0, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams to ensure clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences
Break down traditional requirements into Agile epics and features, and write clear, actionable user stories aligned with customer goals
Execute advanced SQL queries to support data mapping, profiling, and analysis
Perform comprehensive testing to ensure system functionality, data integrity, and alignment with business needs, including:
Functional Testing – Verifying systems meet defined requirements
Data Validation Testing – Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Regression Testing – Confirming new changes do not impact existing functionality
End-to-End Testing – Validating seamless operation across integrated workflows
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – Collaborating with stakeholders to confirm solutions meet business expectations
Use tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira to manage work items and maintain alignment with customer priorities
Required Skills:
8+ years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts, with a strong emphasis on data management and QA testing
8+ years of experience translating client and product strategy requirements into detailed application requirements and user stories
8+ years of exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a solid understanding of Scrum methodology
5+ years of experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs
5+ years of experience defining acceptance criteria and managing the acceptance process with development teams
5+ years of experience using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0 for documenting workflows
5+ years of advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries, data profiling, and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or PMI-ACP.
